Please could you let me know whether this might be possible – we’d like the ‘shop’ open all day for cash sales by the children and an after school shop for children with their parents. I suspect there will be a huge response and lots of staff sales too ! \nI know we only have a week left of term – so would really like to confirm arrangements by Wednesday of next week if at all possible. \n17/07/23 – booked by John\nThis is to confirm that the Roving Bookshop would be delighted to support your visit by Michael Rosen on Wednesday 20th September 2023 to Woodlands School. \nAs with the Jeremy Strong visit\, the Bookshop will arrive at 7:30am to set up\, and can open from 8:30am for parents\, and for class visits through the school day. The Bookshop will remain open after school as long as required. \nPrior to the event we will supply Author Visit Wallets to be given out the day before the visit\, for parents to send in cash for their children to buy books\, posters advertising the event\, and a pdf leaflet with details of Michael’s books and a price guide\, to be emailed to parents. \nIf you have any questions please phone or email. The hall is just inside the reception entrance.\nLarge hall\, however set up at the far end of the hall away from the breakfast club area. Put as much around the edge\, and the rest in the middle. At lunchtime the middle section can remain up\, so nothing to take down.\nAfter unloading\, the van will have to be taken back and parked up in the car park.\nAt the end of the day repeat the process of reversing the van etc to load back up.\nSite manager on site very early\, and very helpful.\nHead teacher and all staff very enthused.
